Entitled “Be Wise, My Child” group members delve into the Lenten Season with a structured 6 sessions series

A series of Bible Studies on the wisdom we need for living and coping in our 21st century ‘global high-rise’.

Each course starts at 8:00pm

COURSE DETAILS

Study 1: Wisdom – what’s in it for me?  What is wisdom? What does the Bible say it can do for us? And if it’s that good, how can we get it?
When: Wednesday 29 Feb 2012

Study 2: Who is speaking? Who hears?
Wisdom – who’s it for anyway? Everyone? Every believer? Or only those and such as those?
When: Wednesday 7 March 2012

Study 3: Gladdening God’s heart.
Can we really make God glad? By being wise? Does it matter that much? Should we really try?
When: Thursday* 15 March 2012 (*Note change of night)

Study 4: The God-who-answers.
When we shout ‘Why?’, who’s listening? And how does our wisdom help him answer?
When: Wednesday 21 March 2012

Study 5: Reproaches, Discipleship and wisdom
Can we help it if other people are rude to God? Or about him? Can we change that by being wise?
When: Wednesday 28 March 2012

Study 6: Being wise in Baildon now.
Being wise should be able to help us make the BMC Vision Statement work, here in Baildon
